To start things off!

To start things off, I guess I should make mention of what's been done, what needs doing, and what's still in the air.

The Done Stuff
Currently, a good portion of the decor for the reception has been picked out/bought, the things to make the invitations are sitting next to me, the rings have been got, and several addresses have been obtained.

There are a few "want but don't need" items that we're still thinking long and hard on, but I think we have 75% of what we are going to get.

The Needs Doing Stuff
As mentioned above, the invitations are sitting right next to me looking all sad and neglected. I'm currently working on them and we're hoping to have them sent out before the end of the week because we're hoping to get RSVPs by October 1st. This is so we'll know if we can try for a group discount at a hotel or not.

The Up in the Air Things
We aren't sure what's going on as far as food at this point. An earlier idea that may still be in circulation is preparing it all ourselves, and if this is the case any and all help is appreciated!


As mentioned prior: we may or may not be trying to get a hotel rate for people coming in from out of town without a place to chill, this will be your source to go to if you want to know though!

The Things That Shall Be Known
This reception is also a Halloween party, we want you to dress up! We aren't too picky on what you dress as, just don't whore it up as this is still a wedding reception!

The reception is taking place at a former restaurant by the name of "Baila", which requires there to be a payed bartender at the premises if alcohol is to be served; as we will not be paying for the services of a bartender this is a dry reception and we apologize.

I will trying to update this site at least once a week, or whenever something important comes up, such as us sending out invitations!
